Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Prabhupada. My name is Gauranga Prema Das. I’m a disciple of Tamal Krishna Maharaja. I have separated with my former wife eight years ago without kids. And I came to ISKCON LA temple in 2015. We have a really wonderful devotee community here in LA. My main service in the temple is distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books. My Guru Maharaja used to tell me “Gauranga Prema, if you ever need money, go and distribute Srila Prabhupada’s books” In the beginning I was really doubting the words of my Guru Maharaja. But after coming to LA temple, I’ve realized what my Guru Maharaja was saying is perfectly right. Now, not only I can make enough money to maintain my life but I’m happy to see so many people are attracted by Srila Prabhupada’s books as well. Distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books is really a win-win business!!! Besides distributing books, I cook for the deities and dress the deities in the temple, too. I like the pujari service in the temple and I like harinama, reading Srila Prabhupada’s books and discussing the philosophy of Krishna consciousness.
I was talking to our temple president, Svavas Prabhu the other day. And he was telling me that he and his wife Tadi Mataji have been married for more than forty years now. I really appreciate their stable marriage. They have set up a perfect example for me.
So, I’m looking for a devotee woman to build a loving and stable family and support each other in spiritual growth. I need someone who is stable in service to Krishna and ISKCON so we can continue service together.
