I currently live in Ann Arbor, Michigan and work as a Full Time Mechanical Applications Engineer at a private German engineering company in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my Masters from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2017 and have been working in Michigan since then. I have my parents and 2 elder sisters in my family. My parents live in Delhi and my sisters live in the US. Both my sisters are married. I am fluent in speaking English and Hindi. I regularly go to Krishna House (The Harmony Collective) in Ypsilanti which is a small community of devotees. We have programs there like bhagwad gita discussion, kirtan, sunday feast, harinams, etc. I am actively involved in all these programs. I have been a percussionist / tabla player for the past 17 years and I really like to use my musical talent in the service of krishna specifically by the mode of kirtan whether it is singing or playing the mridangam / tabla. I really like book distribution and I go on book distribution a lot of times with a senior devotee from the krishna house. It has been about 3 years since I have been practicing krishna consciousness.
